Professional Staff Profiles
1. Sahala P. Sinurat is the founder -with two others- of PT Samchads Consulting Indonesia. He accomplished, after getting a scholarship from Overseas Fellowship Program (World Bank), his master degree in Operations Research from University of Delaware, Newark (US) in 1990.
Mr. Sinurat has a proven record of teaching, training and consulting experiences and exposure to different cultures behind him, as he held several positions at various organizations that include:
- A researcher for the National Institute for Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN)
- Professional Staff to Lembaga PPM (a well-known management institute in Indonesia), specialized in human resources management and development, operations/production management, quantitative analysis; lecturer at post graduate of Lembaga PPM. He has about 8500 hours of teaching to big, medium and small companies, local as well as multinational companies.
- Training and Development Manager for Rothmans of Pall Mall Indonesia, producer of white cigarette such as Dunhill, Kansas, White Horses, etc. His final project with the company was to lead assessment and selection process for merger purposes between British American Tobacco – Rothmans of Pall Mall Indonesia).

2. Twela Gunawan is a senior professional staff of PT Samchads Consulting Indonesia. Born in Jakarta. Having graduated from the Faculty or Economics, University of Indonesia, he continued and attained his post graduate degree in business administration from the Graduate School of Institute for Business Indonesia (IBII), Jakarta.
He displays an extensive career in the field of marketing and human resources as he has held several positions such as Junior Staff at PT SGV-Utomo, Media Marketing Manager to Chuo-Senko Inc. Indonesia, Advertising Manager to PT Masa Merdeka, Account (Client Service) Manager of PT Cipta Citra Advertising, Professional Staff to Institute for Management Development and Education (LPPM), Assistant General Manager of Federal Express-Indonesia, Senior Human Resources Manager of PT Profindo Semesta Indonesia and Acting GM–Human Resources to BOC Gases Indonesia.

3. Binari S. is a senior associate consultant to Samchads Consulting Indonesia. After graduating from University of Krisnadwipayana, he continued and obtained his master degree in Agricultural Economics from Institut Pertanian Bogor in 1993.
Currently he is the Corporate Secretary to Corporate Leadership Development Institute (CLDI). CLDI is a prestigious institute in Indonesia focus on leadership development. Prior to his current post, he was Assistant to Expert Staff to the Office of State Owned Enterprises (Kantor Menteri Pendayagunaan BUMN/Badan Pembina BUMN).
He has an extensive experience in teaching, mostly in management field, to Post Graduate Program Of IPWI - Jakarta. He also has lead many consulting project to non-government organization in the field of marketing management, finance management and Human resources management.
4. Budi Utomo is an associate professional staff of PT Samchads Consulting Indonesia. Obtaining his first degree in Civil Engineering and master degree in Industrial Engineering from ITB, he then worked for about 6 years in Lembaga PPM. He has extensive experience working as a consultant and a trainer. Then he moved to be a facilitator for training center to a multi national company. His currently post to this company is as a Logistics Manager.
5. Marcellino R. Pandin is a senior professional staff of PT Samchads Consulting Indonesia. Obtaining his first degree in Architecture from ITB, he then worked for about 2 years for Architecture Company in Singapore. Moved back to Indonesia and worked for 6 years in Lembaga PPM. He has extensive experience working as a consultant and a trainer. He continued his study and obtained his master degree from LPPM and his master degree in philosophy from Cambridge University, England.
He has a lot of exposures to international projects as he has worked for Fraunhofer Institute, Berlin-Germany as management consultant, Andersen Consulting, London as a management consulting, to Kerry Hill Co.
